Today’s field trip was to go see Boathouse Row and the surrounding areas. I started just past the Philadelphia Museum of Art to a great little stone bridge just behind the Ulysses Grant statue. Climbed up on top of the bridge (tripods make excellent step stools!) and got some great train track photos. Then it was over to the other side of the bridge to the one of countless bike/hiking trails.
When night had fallen it was off to get a photo of boathouse row. On my way to I-76 I stopped to take a picture of the city, as seen from the University City neighborhood. Then is was off to a precarious and tiny shoulder off the highway to get a good shot of Boathouse Row.
Man, I love this city.
